Inspiring girls to lead in STEM

Rebecca Liebert, executive vice president, interacting with student in Miami, Florida
Cultivating future female STEM leaders starts with expanding opportunities and reaching students with a passion for discovery. At PPG, we support programs that seek to close the STEM gender gap. We fund hands-on science learning, encourage our female employees to serve as mentors and role models, and share the possibilities and progress that a diverse STEM field holds.
STEM success starts early
Rebecca Liebert, PPG executive vice president, shares how she got her start in the engineering field. Stories like Rebecca’s are what inspire us to provide girls at a young age with fun and relevant STEM experiences. We aim to fund programs that show girls that what you learn in the classroom, or the lab, or throughout daily life experiences can be applied in creative and innovative ways in fulfilling careers.
